Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Help individuals live an everyday life. This includes activities such as community interaction and activities, making and maintaining meaningful friendships, cooking, cleaning, learning and developing new skill etc.

• Provide and assist with direct care when applicable.

• Preparing and maintaining records of individual progress and services performed.

• Transporting individuals to locations outside the home. Mileage is reimbursed.

• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.

• Must be able to effectively communicate with individuals with a variety of disabilities and their families in a respectful and positive manner.

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate ethical behavior in all interactions with individuals, families, and staff.

• Must be able to document services provided and complete reports accurately and timely.

• Must be able to pass a background check .
